This policy is effective (26/01/2014) and applies to all on field activity including the batting cages. The temperature for this policy will be determined by the Glenelg predicted maximum temperature at 7.00am on the morning of training.

Baseball SA are currently determining a Training Heat Policy which is likely to take precedence over this policy when it comes into effect. The Glenelg Baseball Club Heat Training Policy has been discussed with Baseball SA.
At all times coaches have a responsibility to ensure the safety of players at training and at games.
SENIOR DIVISION 1/2 squad can proceed with due care for players.
SENIOR DIVISION 3 and below: Training is cancelled.
All junior training is cancelled.
A Child/Junior (under age player) cannot train in a Senior Baseball Team when the forecast temperature is 37 degrees or above without parent consent at time of registration obtained by the club.
A Child/Junior (under age player) cannot train in a Senior Baseball Team when the forecast temperature is 40 degrees or above.
